Biography

Matthew Schiavone DMD, MD is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He graduated summa cum laude from the College of William and Mary. He earned his DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he graduated with honors. He then went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Rutgers University Hospital. Dr. Schiavone proudly provides the highest quality of care to his patients. His practice focuses on wisdom teeth extractions, dental implant surgery, and bone grafting procedures. In addition, Dr. Schiavone performs both conscious and deep sedation in the office. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also conversant in Spanish. When he is not working, Dr. Schiavone enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Sarah. They are expecting their first child this spring!
