Biography
Dr. Elizabeth Applebaum is originally from Chicago, Illinois and has been a resident of North Carolina for 9 Years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California in 2002 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006.She attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she received a Master of Science in Endodontics in 2009 after a 3 year residency training program.
Dr. Applebuam is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of North Carolina and teaches didactic endodontics to the residents at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Additionally, she has given the endodontic lecture for the GTCC Hygiene students for the past 5 years. Dr. Applebaum has published her research in the Journal of American Dental Association (JADA) and the Journal of Endodontics (JOE). She is a member of American Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, American Association of Endodontics, and the Guilford County Dental Society.
Volunteering is a passion of hers and she frequently donates endodontic services to the Guilford Adult Dental Clinic, NC Missions of Mercy Clinics, NC Baptist Dental bus, and the Give Kids a Smile program.
Dr. Lizzie Applebaum is married to Dr. Matt Applebaum, a pediatric dentist in Greensboro, and they have 2 daughters, Samantha and Elliot, and a puggle named Riley.
